Job Summary:
This role accurately performs the recurring bookkeeping, accounting, and financial record keeping taks for our clients, assists with their monthly financial reporting, and maintains organized & compliant data records.
This role is also crucial in supporting our business and its Team Members by maintaining a high standard of service and internal processes.
Type of Position:
Part time; 1099 contractor; US Based
Position Hours:
5 - 12 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours
Days and times are flexible

List of Job Responsibilities:
In QuickBooks:
Monthly bank reconciliations
Categorize transactions both in/out of the bank feed screen
Entering and creating journal entries
Running various reports
Entering and paying bills
Reviewing Financial Reports for discrepancies
Attaching receipts & documents
Enter and record bank deposits
Outside of QuickBooks:
Review and rename documents and receipts
Assist in creating, updating, and documenting SOP’s and workflows
Keep notes on work done, issues that occurred, and communication with other staff
Maintain functionality and organization of projects and tasks within project Management app
Assist with Onboarding new clients and Diagnostic Reviews
Ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed and assigned

Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma / GED
Certified in QuickBooks Online
Experience:
2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting
1 year working in QuickBooks Online
Familiar with Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Calendar
Experience working in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.)
Understand how to read financial statements

Experience working with construction contractors
Experience with Job Costing
Worked in Asana before
Consistent experience processing payroll with a third-party payroll company
Financial Analysis experience
